I just opened the My NRMA app on my phone to check when my membership expires and I noticed a promotional banner offering 30% off tickets for Everything Electric Australia (Fri 9th – Sun 11th Feb 2024).
Known previously as Fully Charged LIVE, this combination of electric vehicle exhibition show and informative panel discussions up on stage is designed to inspire people to #StopBurningStuff to fuel their cars, bikes, cooking, heating, cooling etc and switch to cleaner electric alternatives.
This year’s show includes an array of visitor attractions, dozens of live panel discussion sessions, an exhibition with electric vehicles of all shapes and sizes and a information about sustainable home energy options.
Attendees can choose from a program of over 50 live panel discussions presented by Aussie and Kiwi experts such as Chris Jones (President AEVA), Bridie Schmidt (EV Hub Editor, NRMA), Youtubers Electric Chris (Chris Vanderstock), Ludicrous Feed (Tom Gan) and Gavin Shoebridge (Ecotricity NZ) as well as Fully Charged Youtube channel favourites Robert Llewellyn, Imogen Bhogal, Elliot Richards, Jack Scarlett etc.
I’ll be participating in the panel titled The cost of ‘cleaner’ technologies? How much does it cost to switch?
Show organisers say that free tickets are available for:
- people with government issued Carer ID (1 per attendee with disabilities)
- children 15 years of age and under accompanied by a paying Adult parent or Guardian
There is a Kids Zone, offering engaging and educational activities that spark the imagination of the clean energy heroes of tomorrow. For the big kids (over 16), they can try out electric two-wheelers such as e-bikes, e-scooters and e-skateboards.
NRMA is the main sponsor which is why members can buy tickets using the code NRMAEEAU and save 30% on the normal ticket price.
For example if using the NRMA discount code:
- General admission ticket for all 3 days of the show drops from $75 to $52.50
- Sunday ticket drops from $40 to $28
A variety of ticket types are offered including day admission tickets for just Friday, Saturday or Sunday, both weekend days or all 3 days.
I will probably be attending on Friday and Saturday. Say hi if you see me 🙂
