MG has revealed details of their much anticipated MG4 hatchback and ZS EV (long range variant) electric cars at the Fully Charged Live Sydney media preview this evening held at the International Convention Centre Sydney.
In 2010 Robert Llewellyn an actor in the sci-fi show Red Dwarf and presenter of Scrapheap Challenge launched a YouTube channel. From humble beginnings the Fully Charged SHOW has established itself as the world’s no.1 electric vehicle and clean energy show, amassing a sizable global audience with almost a million subscribers.
The MG4 (Red and Grey) and ZS EV Long Range (Blue) are both on public display for the first time on Australian shores at the event for this weekend only. Both the MG4 and ZS EV are backed by a 7 years warranty.
There are also lots of other electric cars including Polestar 2, BYD Atto 3 as well as electric conversions, electric home sustainability products and stands for Evie Networks, NRMA, Origin Energy, AGL etc.

As you’d expect many people wanted to sit inside and have a look at the MG4, I managed to spend a few minutes to show you the two display screens and some of the infotainment screen customisation options.
The MSRP for ZS EV long range is $55590 + dealer delivery etc. It’s set to land on our shores in April with 440km WLTP range and is basically an Essence trim level with longer range.
That means the ZS EV range in Australia will be Excite standard range, Essence standard Range, Long Range.
There will also be three variants of the MG4 when it is launched here in Q3 2023: COM 51kWh 350km WLTP, COM 64kWh 450km WLTP, LUX 64kWh 435km WLTP. There is no indication of Australian pricing for the MG4 as yet.
