Free Storytime Videos: Watch celebrities Rose Byrne, Michelle Yeoh, Chris O’Dowd and more read children’s books

Many parents love reading books to their children but if you need a break there are other options.

Storyline Online is a free website which streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Readers include Viola Davis, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Costner, Annette Bening, James Earl Jones, Betty White and dozens more.

For example this is The Tale of Peter Rabbit read by Australian actress Rose Byrne on Youtube and if you visit the resources page for that book on Storyline Online you’ll find a whole list of activities you can do with your children before, during and after listening to the book.

Storyline Online is a program of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation. The Foundation is a nonprofit organization that relies entirely on gifts, grants and donations to fund Storyline Online and produce all of its videos.
