Evie Networks has just made NSW South Coast driving trips a lot easier for electric car drivers by activating a new 4 bay dual 300kW Ultra Fast Charger at Ulladulla 226km South of Sydney.
To the best of my knowledge this is the first time Evie Networks have installed a non Tritium ultra fast charger as part of their network.

Photos of Evie Ulladulla are courtesy of my friend Stan (Kangaroo Island TV Youtube channel) who just visited the site, driving home in his Polestar 2 long range EV after Everything Electric Sydney.
Evie HQ is in Brisbane which was hit by a major cyclone a few days ago, so I hope all their team and their homes are OK.
EDIT: An Evie spokesperson sent me this update a few hours later:
“Evie Networks is excited to announce a new partnership with Kempower, a leader in electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, to support the expansion of its nationwide fast charging network”.
“As the first step in this partnership, Evie Networks will deploy 4 x 350kW Kempower chargers across regional locations in New South Wales, including Ulladulla, Tamworth, and Armidale”.
“The sites will feature 2 chargers per bay, providing enhanced fast-charging capabilities with the latest Kempower 350kW charging infrastructure. This collaboration is part of the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water’s Drive Electric NSW EV Fast Charging Grant, aimed at accelerating the transition to a sustainable, electric transport future”.
“These new installations will diversify the type of charging infrastructure across the Evie network, expanding EV charging access and making long-distance travel even easier for EV owners”.
“This partnership with Kempower allows us to further our mission of providing reliable and fast EV charging infrastructure to Australians, particularly in regional areas where charging options have historically been limited,” said Chris Mills, CEO of Evie Networks.
“We’re thrilled to continue working with Kempower to bring cutting-edge 350kW charging to more locations as part of our broader network expansion.”

The driving route along the NSW coast South of Sydney has very few DC fast chargers for electric cars. So this new addition will be much appreciated by EV road tripping tourists like me.
Until this new Evie charger location at Ulladulla was activated the only fast chargers along the South Coast of NSW apart from a few old unreliable 50kW Tritiums were Tesla Berry (130kW) and Tesla Narooma (130kW).

Interestingly this new Evie location at Ulladulla has stickers on the chargers saying it is supported by the NSW government but it was not listed in the data given to me when the NSW Round 2 EV Fast Charging grant locations were released in December 2023.
Pricing for Evie Ulladulla is currently 79 cents/kWh which is fair considering it is currently easily the fastest charger along the NSW South Coast and Evie most likely had to arrange an expensive electricity grid connection of at least 500kVA to supply these 2 x 300kW Kempower chargers.
The Evie app initially said that Autocharge was not available but I it has been turned on now and I have been assured by Evie that all their new Kempower chargers will support Autocharge.
