Just wondering how do you get to the point where you are in a position to be nominated by a major political party?? What do you have to do?? How do you join them to one day become a potential candidate in local government elections or maybe one day state elections?? Is it just joining via the standard membership found on their websites?? I would appreciate your answer. But if you stop and think about it, your post is also an example of what journalism used to be. Political power is a world of its own, that most people don't have any kind of real / direct access to. Before the news all sold out, there was a tradition of real people finding out about important goings on, and telling their community what they learned. Even half a world away, it's refreshing to know that <i>someone</i> still cares about reality "behind the curtain." That sounds like a long, arduous process. But if you stop and think about it, your post is also an example of what journalism used to be. Political power is a world of its own, that most people don’t have any kind of real / direct access to. Before the news all sold out, there was a tradition of real people finding out about important goings on, and telling their community what they learned.
