How to set Static IP on Sipura 2000

The following instructions allow you to set a static IP address for your Sipura 2000 VOIP ATA.

Notes:

  • The pound key is #
  • DHCP must be �Disabled� otherwise you will hear, �Invalid Option,� if you try to set other values
  • I found that the Sipura didnt save unless I set one thing (eg: DHCP), hung up the phone and picked up, press ****, set one thing(eg: IP), hung up the phone and picked up, press **** etc for each setting : DHCP, IP, Mask, Gateway (in that order)
  1. Pickup phone handset connected to Sipura, press * * * *
  2. Ignore SIT or other tones until you hear, Sipura configuration menu. Please enter option followed by the pound key or hang-up to exit.

To hear the current settings for:

    DHCP : press 100#
    IP Address: press 110#
    Network Mask: press 120#
    Static Gateway IP Address: press 130#
  1. To Enable/Disable DHCP:
    press 101#
    Enter 1 to enable
    Enter 0 to disable
  2. To Set Static IP Address
    press 111#
    Enter IP address using numbers on the telephone key pad. Use the *(star) key when entering a decimal point.
  3. Set Network Mask
    press 121#
    Enter value using numbers on the telephone key pad. Use the * (star) key when entering a decimal point.
  4. Set Static Gateway IP Address
    press 131#
    Enter IP address using numbers on the telephone key pad. Use the *(star) key when entering a decimal point.

    To Check MAC Address, press 140
    IVR will announce the MAC address of SPA in hex string format

    To Check Firmware Version, press 150
    IVR will announce the version of the firmware running on the SPA

    To Check Primary DNS Server Setting, press 160
    IVR will announce the current setting in the Primary DNS field
