I think that the battery is too weak for such a device. You will have to charge it every day or even, in active use, always carry a charger.

hey, thanks for the detailed information. very helpful. i just had a quick question i was hoping u cud help me with...if i bought a locked N1 from the UK would i be able to root it once it gets here. I ask because obviously an australian sim wont work in the phone before the it's rooted...basically, does the phone need an active sim in it inorder for it be rooted?

any help will be greatly appreciated. thanks

EDITOR: Nexus One's are all sold unlocked. They can be used with any GSM/3G SIM card

Can`t wait to get my hands on this HTC! It`s much cheaper to get one from USA than buy in Europe... What is worrying me the most, I heard of some already integrated feature which allows the phone to update/flash itself automatically when Google puts some update without you knowing!? Anyone heard of this feature?

[...] Personally as a smartphone reviewer who has tested many handsets including Google Android, Apple iPhone, RIM Blackberry and Nokia Symbian I think RIM’s Blackberry phones could hold their market share if they can provide a broader range of devices which include their trademark usefullness “needs” as well as “wants” like the iPhone’s great looking design and large screens as used in Android phones like the Google Nexus One.
