Certainly the Aussies can go a bit over the top, but not to the point of slapstick...my favourite wit is that delivered in a timeless, expressionless manner such as from the arid inland of Australia, or the Islands or Orkney....long reign Ivor Cutler Being Welsh (moderate sense of humour) and lived in England (nice dry wit) and Scotland (cutting wit) and now down under…I appreciate the subtle differences in humour round the world.
